Hi everyone,

Here is my latest short movie filmed with a Canon 7D.
I will soon be travelling aboard for an important movie project involving two 7D, so this short is a kind of quality and workflow test.
Everything was filmed in one day.

Dude, that was freaking fantastic! Thank you very much for sharing. Excellent acting, editing, pacing, script was great, nice all around.

the 3D was a little too noticeable, but hey, that's always part of the challenge.

Congratulations!

what was used for sound??

That was incredible. Pacing was great, acting was superb and ending was painful to watch heh.

Nice job,

Kegan

Hi and many thanks for all the great comments guys.

For the sound, I've used several things:
- 1 Rode videomic on the top of the 7D
- My sound engineer used a zoom H4N (with boom mic + some lavalier mic).

It allows me to have 3 sources for the sound and believe me, it just save my life during the final mix ;-)

Excellent work!
I just ordered my H4n and was worried about some issues...this eased my mind quite a bit.

Thank you for your nice comment Vince,

the Zoom is indeed a very nice piece of hardware (and at a very good price), but I think it is also a good idea to have another mic on the top of the 7D in order to secure the shooting. Sound is sooooo critical in filmmaking.

I just watched this whole film while here at work (sound was all the way down) and I took notice to the image quality, acting, and set in general… it was all excellent. Thank you for including the subtitles. Both actors did a great job. I only wish it were longer…

Are we going to have a chance to see that next big project (with 2 7D’s)? After seeing this I definitely want to see more of your work. Thanks for the look.

Excellent work. Effects were spot on! Thank god you did not kill that car. This would done very well in Betrayalfest. You should have entered it.
