Matt Sconce- Stricken

You are right about Sparrow though. The grain did work. Were you using static adapters?

Thanks, Matt. Nope, we used the Letus35Flip Advanced. I think you picked up a DVD, so you should know that from the BTS material! :)

Does FCP, Magic Bullet or Graeme filters offer the noise removal filter or something like it? Thanks!

FCP must have something pretty descent, because I have a buddy that I rented my Letus & lenses to, & his footage was near perfect as well, with little to no visible grain. I thought at the time it was because of the 4 Ton Grip/Gaffer truck & all the pros they had, but now I'm seeing that it was probably a REALLY effective filter ... though still for still, I prefer what Matt has here on STRICKEN ... really looking forward to seeing the full motion footage.

I remember ! You are right I should have known that! Sometimes I am lame like that. My favorite part of the BTS was the rain scenes. That was intense!!! I have yet to shoot actually under the water as it falls. I think it would freak me out!

Anyway, I am glad you like the noise reduction I have done. It took a LONG time. You know my process, so imagine doing that 50 times, realizing you were doing it wrong, and then having to do it 100 times......I nearly fainted when I realized I had done it incorrectly the first time. I had exported from AE uncompressed Filmstrip instead of Uncompressed AVI and the proccess had stretched the length of each clip, causing stutter. The motion footage looks absolutely amazing by the way!

Thank you!

No prob dude! I hope it helped! I have decided to put all my screenshots together for a viewing feast since I am waiting for my score still. Here ya go. The first ones have not been CCd or noise reduced but I feel this is a fitting tribute to my thread here before the contest.

hehe...wait for it.... no matter what I have posted in this thread, people will be happy with the story of the movie. It is a nice thriller/mystery/horror. Enjoy.

Ha, feel like I just watched the whole film! Kidding, as usual. :)

hehe Because I am not competing, I really tried to help let people "In" to the film making process. That is the reason for the many screengrabs, BTS videos, turorials etc. I hope it helped and that people help me out with feedback to help me improve when they watch my movie.

In case anyone missed them all the screengrabs are on page 51

Well, the time has come and gone, and I still have not received my score for the movie....I am starting to get nervous. I will be out of town Sunday so Tomorrow is the last day I have to work on this!!! Hopefully Leo was working so hard he fell asleep at his instruments or something. Maybe I will wake up and see the score is ready. I really hope so.:crybaby:

if it's already synced, I'll put the two files together for you and make sure the mix is decent and upload it.

Also since you are not competiing, Jarred would probably let you slide in a lil late.

Also, Larry R. will be mirroring, so again since you are not competeing, you could put it there or on your own server for that matter.

You just gotta get to the part somehow. Probably OK to take your own car.

:) :)

Whoohoo! Leo was just having some computer difficulty! The score is HERE!!! I will be editing and mixing all of today and hopefully uploading tonight.

I just wanted to say that the score is awesome. It gave me chills and I know what is coming. I look forward to you guys experiencing it soon!

Well, I am stuck at the bottleneck of too many users on the upload server. We will see if I am able to upload before I have to leave...if not, I will not make the deadline. I rendered Stricken with H.264 and also with Sorenson. They were both high quality but Sorenson turned out better. They both came in at 100mb for a 15minute movie....not bad at all.
