Being stuck in a small dark room with keyboards? That sounds like my life. Great job! I was horrified. yikes!

Sounds like a really good thing though... you're doing what you want to do, and that speaks volumes.

I didnt download the zip files... but the maliboo.mov on the mirror sites is your BTS, isn't it? Any direct links to your film??

I'm glad I checked this post cause I fast forward the movie and was like "AW $H!T this guy accidently uploaded the wrong file!" But since then I went back and saw it...Good one buddy! You got me too!

Hmmm. I got what seems to be a BTS at the mirror. Any mirror that has the real thing up? Which zip file is it loaded on? Ahhh, I need the mirror. My laptop harddrive is filed to the edge. Not enough space for the zips. No time to clean it up right now...

thannks for the cool vote :)

You know what I think the funniest thing is about your amazingly bloodless film is?... The Forum Thread!.... hey man did I d/l the bts? keeps me in stitches I tell ya :)

let me tell you in the words of George W. Bush:
"fool me once. Shame... shame on you. Fool me twice... (pause) a fooled man don't get fooled again!"

bravo... wonderful prank.

lol... thanks everyone!

Actually, it wasn't meant to be a "fooled ya" entry at all. There was a naming mistake on the file. It was originally called "Maliboo BTS" :)

We're filming the actual short on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Thanks Kevin for the thread. Hopefully some people who'd like to crew this project will be interested.

It's turning out to be a higher budget (much higher!) than I had originally anticipated. We're going to be renting a Panasonic SDX900 for the shoot and with Kevin taking care of our cinematography, I know it's going to come out great!

First I thought "What the..." Then I read the post above and realized it was a file name mistake . On the other hand losing a site and then having your camera busted is a real HORROR story itself ..

Ian

Let's just hope that the prequel BTS submission isn't a prediction of events that will occur on the real shoot!

We begin principal photography today, crew call is at 4:00 PM, cast at 5:30. I am looking forward to shooting this one, great location, great camera, lighting and grip package.

Thanks to those that responded to the request for crew posting.

I know that Tom is still looking for some background players, so if any one is interested, I would suggest PMing him to get the details.
