That wasn't the movie were planned on doing, of course. We're actually filming it next weekend. We just figured we'd throw something together at the last minute just to have an entry.

The whole thing was done tongue-in-cheek...

:) Yup.. People are slowly trickling in to give you feedback :)

I DEFINITELY was not expecting this at all. Tongue and Cheek at the most. Just turned the camera on and went for it. I think this film is in a category of all it's own.

Yeah, EVERYTHING was done tongue in cheek... ok, first... the intro music. There was a crappy piano loop with a cheesy bass note in the beginning... then there was my hair, which looked bad on purpose and on and on... :D

OK, for the real film we're doing, here's an update...

Saturday, we're having about a 5 hour rehearsal for the shoot. Everyone except for one guy (contractual agreement he had previously agreed to) is going to show up so it should go well. There are a lot of physical action in the piece so it's imperative that it come out well and be believable...

I think I'm just waaaaaay too picky...

But Saturday, Oct 14th and 15th are the shoot dates and we have our location set up. I have to fill out all of the paper work for the insurance and the permit.

We still need to find a cinematographer (with lighting gear - we have the camera) and a really good audio guy/gal (also with gear, but not imperitive as we can rent a boom and a good mike), so if anyone is looking for something to do and really knows their stuff, let me know!!! :) And yes, I will pay you!

Tom, I'm afraid I wouldn't be much help, but If you guys need some extra help, i'm game! this weekend is open except for Saturday night. Hittin' the town with some friends like a champ.

Thanks Brandon, I'll do that... :)

Edgen, can you show up on the 14th and / or 15th? That's when we'll be shooting.

I'm filling out my first LA film permit right now... talk about surreal!!!

Man that was some GENIUS prank you had there! I started watching...waiting for the real thing to kick in...and I'm like 'what the f@@@ did I just download a bts?'

And he broke the camerA???? MAKE A SNUFF one out of that guy!!!!! ;)

You could have gone a bit berzerk though and smash the keyboard!!!

lol thanks John... actually, the filename somehow didn't come right. The name of our entry was actually "Maliboo BTS"... I don't know what happened. When Jarred posted that Mailboo (swapped the i and the l) had been posted, I just said !@#$ it and let it go... :D

Yeah, that was the right one. That's what we could come up with on short notice. The real thing is being shot this coming weekend...

lol... Michael, I watched your short and thought it was pretty cool... I'll make sure to leave some feedback when I get a chance...
