Mailing Media to Client

bill totolo

I just picked up a new client in NY. I'm in LA. I'm shooting an interview with Seth Rogan and Kevin Smith. The client wants me to UPS them the media drive after the interview. They said they've used this workflow in the past.

Any recomendations on what drive to pick up? As this is happening tomorrow I don't have time for mail order. I'll probably drive over to MacMall for a solution.

Any luck with those tough looking little LaCie drives with the rubber coating?

Thanks,

Bill

I have 4 drives, consumer type, and prefer my Western Digital Mybook Studio 500.
It has USB, FW400 and 800. Not buss powered though.

I usually pick up the USB bus powered drives similar to the one mentioned by David S. Well if they want a FW drive, I cant imagine it would have to be fancy, but hey they are paying the bill.

Well I picked up the LaCie "Rugged" compact storage drive with triple interface and 120G capacity.

Not bad for $107 w/ tax. I'll let you know how the little sucker holds up.

LaCie is crappy. You heard it here first. :costumed-smiley-047:costumed-smiley-047
