I'm not expecting 4K (although that would be great and it is capable), I have a GH4 for that. But it would be nice to get a Log profile or Raw video out of the HDMI. Anything for video would be stellar.
 
Prores 4.2.2 is up to hollywood level, Do not forget Photography is to paint with light

Got my Ninja 2's. Big difference working with these ProRes HQ files vs. the internal h.264. Files can be pushed around a little more, very happy with the results. Still wish for ML Raw though. In the meantime, I'm good with ProRes recording.
 
Yep the 7D Mark II, output 4:2:2, wich is great. The codec is very nice to work with
The C100 output 4:2:2 10 bit, The 10 bit means alot in color,
In this days you can buy a C100 for US$ 2500, and that is a gift, not long ago was $ 8000
 
The point is that Lighting is The most important tool as far as image capture, He shows with a phone camera but lighting you can get a shot, Look at the message not the very poor footage
A better example On this shot I made like 5 years ago with a Panasonic AVCCAM HMC40 1/4 chip, 8 Bit, 4:2:0. and Some Lowel DP and Omni lights
