I just installed ML alpha 12 on my 60D for the first time. I never had ML installed and firmware was still 1.0.5.
I must say: WOW. I'm really impressed! This opens up so many possibilities!! The last 3 hours I was busy trying out almost all features of ML for 60D!
I read a lot about it beforehand but I guess you have to experience it. So far the camera is working nice and I installed ML on all 5 SD cards.
The only crash I had was after deleting pictures from the card. I went to "erase images", all images on card and it crashed. I could not reproduce this. I just shot a test clip and erased it and that worked.
I'm really amazed by Magic Zoom Focus Peaking, zebras and Audio Levels. For me as a Video Journalist these are features I'll make use of every day! So thanks a lot for making my life easier Alex
Another great thing is:
I sometimes forget to turn on the Rode Mic when in a hurry and I end up with no sound at all. Its great to record internal and external sound on l/r channels so I have some sound as a backup (I need it for syncing)
Oh and the intervalometer! Love it! No need for buying even more batteries for my external remote timer. I'll still keep it for taking remote pictures since we 60D users dont have the lcd sensor...
UPDATE: Just tried out HDR timelapse over night:
