T2i Magic Lantern for 550D in progress!

What version of ML are you guys using? I had a scare, cause my t2i would shut off a few seconds after booting, with the latest 22.december version ( I had just replaced the autoexec.exe on the card) - I'm using a battery pack btw...don't know if that makes a difference...anyway now I formated the card in camera, and it still did it....took off the battery pack and now things are back to normal without ML installed...now I wanna do the install again from scratch, but wanna know which version I should be using...?

Put in the sd card all files of the lastest version, no only the autoexec, i think the problem is the .cfg file

I just updated to the latest Dec 22 build on 1.0.9 (no more 1.0.8 development) and I gotta say it's a huge improvement. Audio playback issue is fixed and we get manual color temp, and smaller ISO intervals. Not to mention the selectable cropmarks. No more taping up your monitor to do 2.35. I really appreciate all the hard work these guys are doing allowing us to get the most out of our cameras. If you're having problems double check you're following the install instructions from here:
http://magiclantern.wikia.com/wiki/550d_install

If you're having trouble making a card bootable, I recommend EOScard for Windows. (make sure you run it as administrator, the rest of the instructions are in the link above)

I am super excited to use this on my next shoot! I am, however, having trouble finding what exactally the numbers for the zebra's represent :S

Zebra numbers in menu represent picture brightness fom 0 to 255 ,255 its white 0 is black so closer to 0 would show zebra on only very dark/black stuff and closer to 255 would make zebras on very bright stuff.I cant explain, test it and youll figure it out.
% is spot meter to check brightness 0 dark 100 white.Spot is in the middle of the screen, read userguide.

also, is there any way to get the shutter speeds to include 1/48?
Everyone has been asking, and what keeps being answered is that because its digital, there is no actual difference between 48 and 50. Im just repeating what I have read on their group, I have no idea if it is true but 50 is fine enough for me.

i second his request!
zebra numbers? whats 100% 90% ??

I'm not sure about this, but if you want IRE levels for your zebra settings, just multiply the IRE number by 2.55
So if you want the bars on 70 IRE set them in camera to 179,, 204 for 80 IRE.
I havent tried it in practice yet, but it had me wondering because I normaly use zebras for skin tone exposure.

So how's the manual sound recording with ML?
I could see this being great to use in a pinch when a project isn't worth syncing up an external audio source, but is the native recorded sound good enough for most interview style projects?

audio without the AGC will be as goos as the sginal you will be feeding into the DSLR.

So then there would not be any benefit to running my sennheiser wireless audio on a seperate recording device anymore? Cuz that would just be awesome.

there would be some benefit, as recording to a better (less compressed format), but since the output of the wirelss mic is not the real output of the mic (in fact the output of the receiver) , and probably a cheap recording device would not be as much better as the DSLR input (and a high end recording device would not give any improvement on the received signal), i am not sure the balance between
having to resync the audio and the gain in quality would be positive.
but for sure , if you got all what is needed to get top audio quality, use it.
