Hey Alex, just wanted to say thanks for your great work on magic lantern thus far, but I have to ask when will T3i audio features will be fixed?
That being said, I really can't see myself buying a T2i because of the overheating problems I experienced and lack of articulating screen(huge in my book).
What overheating? I shoot under the African sun and have never had an overheating issue with my t2i.
Usually scenes with a great deal of motion (fast action) or intricate moving details get lost in compression artifacts on lower bitrates. However, those are also examples of things that should normally be avoided with a Canon DSLR due to rolling shutter and moire, so the benefits of pushing it that high are arguable.Currious if anyone has tried to max out the bit rate on their setups and what does it look like? I was trying some tests today with my T3i and was able to get 89-97mbps with a 2.1x bit rate with audio recording disabled.First off even my i7 machine can't handle playing it back smoothlySecondly, I can't really see much if any difference. Where does a higher bit rate become evident. What types of conditions does it really help with?Cheers,Pete
