Frank,

I'm new to the FS100 and not a colorist. Would it be possible for you to share how you color correct your new pp?
Thanks!

Hi there !
I'm new to DVXuser but enjoy a lot all your usefull posts.
I 'm just starting with my FS100 but really love the G Ultimate PP.

Only one thing slightly troubles me with the skin tones: With Asian people, it tends to be too "greenish".
I live in Japan, and people aren't as "pinkish" as in western countries if i may say. This slight difference may sound subtle but it is a bit of a hassle to fix in post.

In order to preserve the advantages of this PP while fixing this green tint, would it be better to modify the Color Mode, Color Depth or WB shift?
Any suggestion would be welcome !
Thank you

Rude of me to suggest, but why don't you tinker with each one at a time.... dial one down / up... see what it does, then dial it back, dial depth down, see what it does etc.
All in all I wouldn't touch the WB shift, you could end up with a nasty overall tint.

I cant remember the exact control settings of the camera but the opposite of green is red, so in order to affect green you should dial up red. But... you might be seeing cyan more than green really, and the opposite of cyan is magenta.

Thank you for your advice legrevedotcom !
It is not rude of you to suggest at all. :D I've already spent some time tweaking the different variables to see what it does.
But i have a very limited knowledge of how it affects the PP at the end and rather ask to an experienced community. Your advice on the WB shift is a really valuable intel, thank you!

I'll keep digging and share my findings.

Thanks, I was overjoyed to see all of their beer in my fridge. I thought it would last me a month....it didn't last two weeks.

Also thanks for these great profiles!

Used Frank's picture profile on a quick and dirty video I made for a local brewery....

Looks great! I also pull of the label whenever I have a bottle of beer in my hands...ha ha...
Just a note if I may...at 00:34 and 00:53 looks like you missed a little the framing in post...

Here's a music video I shot using Frank's glorious picture profile. This was my first attempt at shooting with an anamorphic adapter, so focus was a bit soft, but overall it was a blast!.

Rob, I really liked this piece on No Label and definitely some great shots. It's 5:00 somewhere, but I have to go to work now…..

Here is a video I have done with Frank's PP (Thanks Frank). I must say that I'm not definitely an expert in grading, and I often prefer the picture i get directly from Frank's PP, but the only thing that I have issue with is that green patina "I hope i'm using the right term in english :(" that i get using Frank's PP, so i try to grade it the best way i can!! I know I still have a lot to learn about grading.
I used the Stealth slider with the Fs100 and that was my first time with a slider, I have done this video the next day i got the slider so it was the first time i got my hands on it. No head on the slider only the low ball profile and the Fs100 attached directly on it!!! I have to say that I think that i should have bought the traveler version and not the standard one, the traveler version would be better mounted on a tripod directly unlike the standard one. I did this video in Venice so I could'n take with me a lot of material and the heavier tripod as you have to walk with all material and carry it by hand:embarasse:Drogar-Thinking(DBG here is the video:

Used the Pic profile for a destination wedding in Mexico. I was very happy and pleased going back to color correct some shots as it was so easy to fix color temperature!!! I loved the outstanding dynamic range I was able to get as well.

Thanks!
