Mac/DV Rack HD2 workflow

I love the features of DV Rack HD2. Before I purchase I wanted to know what would be the correct workflow. I'm a die hard mac user and I know that DV Rack is windows based. I do have a windows lap top that meets the specs of DV Rack but just wanted to know how I would transfer files.

Just checked it out. Looks good albeit at a higher price. Looks like they are still working out the bugs in the software. Did you use this yet? If so, how does it compare to HD Rack.

Record your footage to an external FAT32 hard disk. When you're done recording, unplug that drive from the PC, plug it into the Mac, and you're done. Just drag 'n' drop the files right to the FCP timeline.

You could even format the drive using NTFS and bypass the 4GB file size limit. The Mac will only have read-only access to the FAT32 drive, but in a way that may be a good thing.

Higher price than DV Rack 2.0 HD?

That runs $700.00 I believe

Not certain what you mean.

Windows itself runs $200.00

I think a better Mac DVRack HD workflow would be to use MacDrive to allow WindowsXP to recognize your Apple HFS+ formatted disks. So, I have a MacBook Pro running WindowsXP under BootCamp, an external 750gb SATA drive with Express34 SATA card, and MacDrive. I can run DVRack, capture to the SATA drive and because it is MacHFS+ I don't have the 4gb file limit of FAT32 or the Mac issue of being able to read but not write to NTFS volume.
