LX 5 on anyone's radar?

Just out of curiosity, can anyone speculate on a hack for the LX5?
Nice little camera, zooming while recording (silent), f2 lens, 50i/60i frames at 720p-17 Mbps, full manuel control, super image stability (almost supernatural), good battery life, and hot shoe.
Even the same processor as in the GF1 (I think).
I've stepped up for my work to a GH2, but still love this pocket shooter.
Just was curious is if anyone else had an interest in this?

I know the LX5 has horrible light flare issus, but aside from that its really an impressive pocket shoot. Also allows me to get access and shoot without grabbing attention.:cheesy:

I have the LX5 and love it. It's shockingly good doing video indoors at low light. In fact, I'm using it to shoot handheld, to experiment with shooting sequences in preproduction on my little feature (which I intend to shoot on a GH2)... when I then edit the footage, I'm always blown away by how good the quality is... sometimes I wonder if I shouldn't just shoot my feature on the LX5, instead of the GH2 - it's that good. So yeah, I wouldn't mind a nice little hack for the LX5 :)... but it'll never happen, there isn't enough demand out there. For me the LX5 is the perfect preproduction camera, it's small, always with me, takes fantastc stills abd video both with a fast 24-90mm f2-3.3 Leica lens; ideal for
location scouting, taking quick photos for film ideas etc... as you can see, I love my LX5 :)

Right on! I got the 52mm Panasonic adaptor DMW-LA6 for $24.99 and the DMW-LWA52 lens for $174.99 from B&H - so in total $200, not bad for a nice 18mm f2.0 lens - the LX5, properly accessorized is a very capable little video camera. But a mod just ain't happening :(
