GH1 Lumix GH1 - says "Lens Not Attached" with 14-140mm ?

Have a Lumix GH1 with the Lumix 14-140mm lens. Occasionally the camera will give me the message "Lens Not Attached". Is this a known problem? Can usuaully fix it by turning off camera and turning back on. Curious though why this is happening. Could my camera body or lens be defective somehow?

Occasionally that happened to me too when I'm using my Lumix lenses. I found that when changing lenses I put just a small back and forth twist on the lens barrel at the end. What I think that may do is align up the sensors between the lens and camera. That seems to solve the problem.
 
Maybe dirty contacts? I read on here that you can clean them by lightly rubbing a pencil eraser on them. I've never tried it though...
