LoveFest 2008 Voting

Voting for LoveFest 2008 is open from now until next Sunday night (February 24) at midnight Pacific Time.

How do I vote?

Using our new automated system (thanks Larry!) you'll vote for your top 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices for best film. Log into the voting system with your regular dvxuser.com username and password. You must vote for three different films for your vote to be counted and you may vote for your own film. All votes are kept completely confidential. The voting link is:

(Note: There is a known bug in the system that causes some users to be told they don't have the requisite 100 posts in order to vote when in reality they do have. It is being resolved, but in the meantime if you PM Larry R he will fix your account so you can vote. -- Thanks for your patience)
How are the votes tallied?

Points are awarded to each film as follows:

1st place vote -- 3 points
2nd place vote -- 2 points
3rd place vote -- 1 point

Who is qualified to vote?

All users with at least 100 posts are eligible to vote. The submitting filmmaker is also allowed to vote regardless of post count. This rule exemption is only allowed for one submitting filmmaker per production team.

Thanks alot Barry. I only have a couple more to watch and I will do that when I get off work, after that I am hitting the polls.

It will not be easy picking the top three from 50 wonderful submissions. Good luck to everyone who submitted a film, it is obvious that alot of hard work went into each and every one of these projects.
 
Took a while for me to log in to. Give it time guys, it will work.

This new system you got going on Larry is sweet. So easy to use. The best part? We can go back and make changes!

Sorry for any bugs guys, if you have a problem--report it on this thread. The system is brand new and we'll handle any problems that come up.
 
Note that the initial login takes a moment as the voting system has to query the main DVXuser server to confirm your password, etc...

Subsequent logins are faster.

It turns out that you have to use your current username. Isn't that weird?!

Just a bit confused from the initial post. It says that only one submitting filmmaker per production team is allowed to vote. So for example, in my case where Robbie and I are both part of one production team...does that mean only one of us is allowed to vote?

Everyone on your team with 100 posts can vote--just like everyone else. An exception to the 100 post rule is made for ONE submitting filmmaker.

EDIT: Strange, I attempted logging in once and got an email from DVXuser about my password being incorrectly entered five times. I only tried once! I'll try again and see if it allows me this time around.

Im having no luck logging in. I got 2 emails saying my account was locked because someone tried to log in with the wrong password.
I logged out of dvxuser and was able to log back in but can not log into vote.
 
Yeah, I'm still having trouble logging in. Can't seem to do it. Invalid username or password is the message I get.
