Lost at Sea

Nice job guys. This reminded me of "Living in Oblivion," one of my all time favorite films. It's nice to see what can be done when applying the KISS rule.

This was great, my first thought was "not another movie about making a movie!" but you completely sold me, did it differently and well, definitely one of my favorites.

Not sure how to really vote, so I rated this thread 5-stars (as I am assuming that is how voting is going down....)

By far my favorite!

You have my endorsement, for what it's worth.

The overall message is universal and compelling: the tragedy of life wasted, denying true love. In this case, it was an impossible situation, -- of ache and longing and regrets -- it's ultimately a story about the relationships that shape us -- for better and for worse.

just kidding... it actually was really funny... i think this has the potential to go viral.

Very funny. We all seen it before, but you definitely did it better than most. Are you really one of the Zucker brothers?

Funny stuff. When it first came on, I was thinking, Oh no. But it just kept getting better. Good stuff.

again, guys, thank you for the praise! i'm about halfway through the submissions and havin' a ball.

Will Clegg: What is the Kiss rule???

Ryan Patrick O'hara: I can't figure out how to vote either! Rating the thread doesn't cut it.
I was told to PM Larry R which I did...but I'm still waiting to hear back.
You do the same, and give us a Fat 10.

Apparently all the cool people get to see stars next to the movies on the viewing page, and you vote like that. But alas, no stars for me.
Hopefully I'll get them by tomorrow -- as I won't really have time to vote after that.

[fingers crossed]

This was awesome!

I pretty much never laugh out loud when watching stuff by my self, but I actually caught myself doing that on this.
- "lose the mustache", was my favorite moment as well! Loved his face after the mustache was gone - too funny!

I don't really have anything negative to say, except I really wanna watch this in better quality.

Great stuff!

I just got around to watching this one, and let me say that it is the funniest movie I've seen in the fest. Every time the shot begins with that dolly in I just start cracking up!

This was awesome, thanks! GREAT, unexpected humor, which I really enjoy. I was cringing at the beginning, wondering what I was getting into with this, and was pleasantly surprised.

As far as comedies in the fest, this is my favorite so far! Even comedy aside, I've ranked this at the top with just a few others.

Since this was supposed to have errors in all various capacities, it's difficult to pick anything apart with this, because perhaps it was how it was SUPPOSED to be done (very, VERY clever, BTW). :)

Again, great, great job.

I don't understand why comedies get so little respect. (Not a poke at you, Norm, it seems that way with the Oscars, too :) )

In my experience, the comedies tend to be less well executed, in my opinion, that's primarily it. MacB, however, is the exception to the rule, as his work is usually comedic, AND well executed.

"What... Where's the couch?!"

This was HI-larious. The way things just got more and more absurd as time went on, I loved it!
Performed and executed well, it looks great, certainly puts mine to shame.

Great work.

Man, I feel terrible but I still haven't had time to watch any of the movies. I was away at a film festival for the weekend and now I'm back at work.

My brother Evan (abraham), who plays the director in the movie, has been watching and commenting to hold up our end. Thanks everybody for the comments!
