Los Angeles DVX group meeting

yeah, i let craig know and I was supposed to meet him, he just completely disappeared for the week i was there so i didnt get to meet with him either.

Do you have an idea of when next time might be? I think I owe you a beer or something for shipping out some DVX batteries to me on a last minutes notice. =)
 
well i should be there permently in the next couple months... so i will take you up on your offer. It is possible I may be there 2nd week of september as well, but its not likely.
 
Me, too! The beginning of this thread looked so promising ... but that was many months ago now.

It doesn't even have to be a super-fancy thing. I've only been to a few small user group meetings, but they were all really low-key. Even if we all got together and loudly congregated in a big, empty room, I'd be there. :thumbup:

I'll bring the orange drink ... who's going to bring the follow focus for the raffle?

Seeing as nobody is taking the lead position, how does Saturday, Sept. 10th sound for people? If enough people are open, let's see where we all are located and find a nice middle ground location. But first, schedules. The 10th sound good?

Hello i would like to join the l a group
i have added everyone on this thread to my buddy list so feel free to contact me with info .
may i suggest set meetings over the net with dvx or just dv issues issues in mind and this can be over this system...
unfortunetly i only had yahoo messenger and someone said it is disabled ??
the second idea is that all ..... that if all or some of us are willing......
we can meet at a big los angeles event that needs coverage
and we can help each other get some good stock footage and learn things from each other ....
whatever it is a great idea to have an l a dv user group meeting

Wow, I've been on this site for ages and I've never seen this thread. If a meeting happens on the 10th, I will definitely come. Feel free to add me to the list!
 
Ok, gotcha. Will email you and post publically but it looks good for the 10th.

I see I didn't fill in my profile but I too am in Ventura. I live in the Keys; nice to see a local!
