Looks Like Greymarket 4GB P2 Card From Fullcompass

I bought a 4GB P2 card a couple weeks ago from fullcompass.com. The warranty card is in Japanese. After reading the forums it seems that it is the sign of the grey market. Can someone check out this serial number to make sure I'm right? AEC06H0243 (not sure if those are 0 or O) I could be wrong but I'm holding a green Japanese card with carbon copy stuff on it that looks like it should be sent somewhere.

The price was $523 (even more than spec-comm, so I thought it was all good..). Looks like they are an authorized dealer according to the where to buy post. Nothing saying it is grey market on the website. http://www.fullcompass.com/product/314846.html I'm working constantly on my senior film project and don't have the time to fight for a new card. What is the warranty on a US P2 card? Also are any fullcompass reps on here?

Im not sure but I think they are all like that, I got mine at three different dealers and they are all in Japanese. Check with the dealer and find out what their policy is though on returns. .
 
The green warranty cards for my two 8GB P2 cards are also in Japanese. I don't think that means anything, there is only one version that is usable with all the P2 camera models. I did the warranty registration online months ago and had no problem.

I know Shawn Tallard from Full Compass reads these forums and posts here occasionally. He is the gentleman I bought my cards from back in July.
 
Ok nevermind then. I just found it so strange that I had a card full of some other language on it, and no copy of it in english. I just don't get why they would include that with a US product or at least not include the same thing but in english.
 
How can you actually the warenty registration?
Cause mine are from japan, but its hard to read those signs...would like to ty the registration here in europe...!

I didn't notice the date either and was about to tell him he paid waaaay tooooo much! :)
 
It seems that there are fairly good supplies of 16Gb cards these days, and perhaps 32 GB card are also in good supply?
