C100: Looking for a stabilizer for the C100

Looking at the Letus Jr, it seems CRYING OUT for a C100/C300 mod to attach the grip on the right handle, no? How great would that be? You cold toggle AF and change aperture on the fly.

Ok so I'm not sure why it took me this long to attempt something myself, but here it is (!). It works perfectly. No hacksawing, soldering, or tools necessary. How-to article coming soon...

Wow. Ask and you shall receive. I have to try this more often!

Thanks, Slavikb! Looking forward to the how-to.

Whoa! Yes, waiting on the edge of my seat for the article! So you had to add weights to replace the hand grip. Be sure and patent your idea and sell the grip holder thing to Letus!

Hey guys, I just published the hand grip how-to article here: http://www.geardads.com/camera-gimbal-letus-helix-canon-c300-c100/

It's a new site for me and my partner in crime, so we've only got a few posts up so far. Hope to make it a good resource in the year to come. Let me know what you think we should write about!

Cheers,
Slavik

Slavik, man, excellent article! Remarkably easy set up, also great video nice to see a face connected with the name. Letus needs to take care of you some how some way, I think you drastically increased next years sales for them. I wouldn't be surprised to see a C100 had grip package offered by them.

Looks like an encoder upgrade is in the stars for me, but for now don't really need it for what I'm doing...... but with the encoders looks like the possibilities with the Helix are limitless!

Thanks again for all the great info. Best of luck in the coming New Year!
