Log & Transfer in FCP 7 bringing in 720 30pn footage as DVCPro HD 720 p60

That the Compressor shouldn't say 720p60. He also Uses ProRes Sequences and doesn't have to render his footage when he adds it to the timeline. He also shoot in 720 30PN.
I'm not losing sleep over this. Everything seems to work fine. But I didn't know if I was doing something that might hurt the quality of the project out of ignorance of little preferences that need to be set.

Do you see a setting under the Compressor drop down menu that provides 720p30?

The real question is why your friend is capturing DVCProHD footage and editing it in a pro res sequence.
There is nothing to be gained by doing that.
