Is it $350.00 as reported initially or

$250.00 as reported here?

I'm not Jan so I can't answer, but I think I'm safe in pointing out that Panasonic Broadcast hasn't released lenses before. All their interchangeable lens cameras use Fujinon or Canon lenses, so if they were to introduce their own line of lenses that would seem to be a significant departure. I would expect them to rely on the existing lenses out there.

The most-recent press release says $350, so I'd expect that's the real price. It's also listed for $349 for pre-order at B&H, so ... yeah, whoever said $250, that wsa probably a typo/mistake.
 
I'm sorry about the price confusion for the AJ-PCD2 folks. It is $350. I Typoed in the middle of the press conference (hell, this was like 20 seconds after the AF100 was announced).

Looks like no more dvcprohd in future models from the looks of that cone chart at the end.
 
DVCPRO-HD was included in their very latest-introduced model, the HPX370.

We probably won't see many more (if any more) DVCPRO-HD-only models, but I'd be surprised if the format disappeared from the existing cameras any time soon. It still has some major advantages, including the ability to be live streamed over firewire.
 
I think the aghmc 80 has major drawback ........it has no 24p.....it has only 25p...
Please check out.....! 24p is shown in many catalogs but i think the camera doesn't have it..........!
 
The USA/NTSC HMC80 most definitely unquestionably does have 24p. It doesn't have 25p.

The European/PAL HMC81/HMC82 won't have 24p, they'll have 25p.
