Hi all,
I just received a Lilliput 664 monitor from eBay (a Chinese seller), and I'm having an issue with bright spots which are very obvious when the display is dark. This is a big deal for me because I shoot video in nightclubs! I'm wondering if it is endemic to this particular model, since the case is lightweight plastic (its marketed as a lightweight alternative to the 663 model which has the same display panel, an IPS 1280x800 screen). If I gently (barely) bend the display the brighter spots disappear or are made stronger.
Should I try to exchange it for one of the same model, or see if they'll let me exchange it for the metal-cased 663? I'd rather not switch to the 663 because I don't want something heavier. Thoughts, advice?
