Letus35 Extreme

he went offline! lol who does that after such a huge release dangit?!!

Stay calm. You are talking about the producer of the best 35mm adapter under 10k.
Now it's even better. I have the Letus35fe and it's great, apart the fact that i have to let the shutter UNDER 1/50.
So i'm ready to buy the Extreme NOW if the GG moves faster.
Quyen i want to be one of your first customers.

.

ditto, but i need to see some grabs and footage! i want to be numbero uno! lol as long as the pics are nice ;)

If you are REALLY anxious, keep in mind that the entire Letus35 line does come with a 30 day guarantee ;) I would post sample footage/images but I don't have one of these in hand myself yet. I'll have one soon and will get samples up ASAP.

i.e. i could pick one up, and send it back if im not happy? Is that reason valid enough to get a full refund?

i definitely want to jump on this toy, and hope ot god there isnt an update or new piece, or " hey we found this " within the next few months. Although logic being what it is, it seems as though at half a stop of light, a flipped image, small and compact, with a nice design and build, doesnt get much better?

I guess the only thing left to see is the speed of the vibrating GG

although i would VERY much like to purchase one for testing, and if all is well, keep it!

Especially after the months of research/ multiple models... each with their pluses and minuses.

brevis - compact, light, light efficient, good image.
sgpro - same size as M2, very sharp, higher light loss, more film like bokeh
m2 - similar to sgpro, flaws in the spinnin disc/bokeh area's around the edge, non

then the letus flip enhanced lost quite a bit of light, and wasnt as great as it could get edge to edge. But if these problems are fixed and more, then boom.

good thing I havent bought the FE yet, but the price jump, oh boy.

I'm sure this is a great adapter.

how long is the discounted price for????????

I was just worried about a the vibrating motor, when on a tripod doing a still video shot if the adapter is on is there any noticible shaking due to the adapter? anything at all that will be noticed in the footage?

that is going to be the deal maker for me personally

now, what would be a good, reasonably priced, set of rails one could use on such an extreme adapter? I love how the adapters get better and better, but i don't like how the price gets higher and higher... i don't belong on this planet.

p.s. this thread is keeping me awake. This has never happened before... what an experience.

PaPa, I can't decide if you're excited or on speed :)

I just grabbed some Cavision rods from the marketplace for use with my Letus FE.

You can find them new here:
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ...RS15IIM200MM_RS_15IIM_Rod_Support_System.html

They are a Canadian-based company - you're in Canada too, right? (I caught Bumblebee Tuna - enjoyed it, btw).

I was looking at grabbing some Indirails (www.indifocus.com), but the hardware on the Cavisions look like they are higher quality. The rods are only 10", but I will probably end up buying some 18 inchers down the road so I can add some grips and a shoulder pad.

trudd, You will need 18 inchers for the letus. Ask me how I know. Those are 18s in the pic below.

I have all cavision stuff. It is top notch, but those carbon rods it comes with are too short. Pics of my rig can be found on another letus thread that was going on the other day titled "letus34 problem" or something.

Actually, Here's one:

I use the 10" rods on my XH-A1 and the Flip. They work fine for my needs. Don't get me wrong, 18" would be nice but you can get the 10's to work most likely.

Oh, and for any of you wanting to trade up the Letus35 FE to the Extreme, please PM me for further details. We now have a program in place for anyone who purchased in the last 1-60 days.
