arrogance is part of the game, most artists are ego driven
this is one of the reasons they are called superstars.
yeah, we could say he's not a superstsar but than there are his milions of records sold. IN music you're a star for no other reason than sales. Bono would not be a star if he only sold 10,000 copies no matter how good his music is or how politically correct he is. Politicians or humanitarians very rarely become superstars in the context of this discussion.

Carlos Mencia sucks.
I was at a buddy's house a few weeks ago, and him and some of his friends said 'Let's watch 'The 3 Amigos!'' To which I replied 'Hell yeah! I love that movie!'
Well, it wasn't the good 3 Amigos (link), it was some crappy standup w/ Mencia and two other guys (link)... it was some of the worst comedy I've ever been subjected to.
...I know nothing of Kanye West, so I can't comment on that. But Mencia is a no talent crotch-fessent.

On the topic of his lyrics, I must ask do you feel as if you can do any better? If you think that his lyrics are so weak, and shallow "like a 5th grader" then bring it. Lets hear your lyrics.
And don't slam the guy for having the balls to say what he believed in his heart on a national stage. When someone is emotional the things we say might not come out as eloquent as we might like. That being said, I can see how some can argue that it was in poor taste.

Im an artist, i have been in classical art schools for 15 years., i just came back form Italy, standing before the Pieta` ( which was his best work IMO).
I used michaelangelo as an example of unlikebale charachter, with talent. In no way am i referencing That Kanye west is the musical version of Michalangelo. That honor is for the likes of Mozart.
Now that i think about it, do i type in a confusing manner? mayeb i have a grammar structure problem, and no one can understand what i type..... ithough what i wrote was pretty clear.
