Im leaving on the 26th to go on a road trip, Reno -> SF -> LV . for Gumball3000 Rally I really want to borrow a Voigtlander for the trip to get good low light shots. Ive noticed theres a place in SF that I can pick it up at for a cheaper price than having it shipped to me here in redding. Is there any other lens that you guys would recommend more? I have budget of $40-80 for this Im also getting A rode mic for the trip as well. Thanks for any advice.

Are you just shooting video? Or will you also be shooting still photos? If you're shooting video, the Voigtlander f/0.95 lenses are superb, but they're manual focus only. For photos, you'd be better off renting an autofocus m4/3 lens.

I recently rented the Panasonic Leica 42.5 f/1.2 lens and it was superb. Very expensive, but I'm tempted to purchase it.
