Any opinions? Particularly interested in:

Leica Summilux 14-50 OIS F2.8-F3.5
This lens came with the L1 and can be had for a song - free, if you sell the camera body and the seller doesn't know the value of the lens he's letting go as a 'kit' lens :)

Leica Summilux 25mm F1.4
Very expensive lens, known to have 0.098% distortion - incredible. Probably the best 50mm equiv. fast prime you can get for the GH1. But is it worth the money?

I'm thinking of selling every fast prime I have apart from the Zeiss 85mm F1.4 and getting the Leica 25mm :grin:

The Leica lenses do have one advantage: Proper focus and aperture rings!

Of course like most things German (at least in photography) they're horribly overpriced. At the same time they're the only option, so I guess they can charge whatever they want. :P

get it!
you only live once!
thats what I said and now I have a 35 f1.4 and a 24 f2 on their way
wallet=ouch

I know what you mean :)

My logic is going something like this: I think that selling some of the Zeiss lenses I just spent a fortune on means this lens is a bargain. Not much extra to 'trade up'. (Only the £450 I spent in the first place!!)

Addicted!! Is there a lens anonymous clinic I can go to?

I used to have the Leica Digilux 3 with said 14-50 F2.8-3.5 and let me tell you this is one of the best lenses if not THE best lens I ever had, and I have a lot being a pro photographer.
Buy a cheap L1 kit and sell the body, will be a great deal!
I've heard only good things about the Summilux 25 too although never had it I'd blindly recommend it.

If you're on a tighter budget get a M lens adapter and buy Voigtlaender lenses, they have some insanely good lenses at very reasonable prices.
