LED Light Strobing

I just got back from shooting a band with their set of LED light banks. I noticed some light banding that was just about completely unavoidable using most colors. Anyone worked in this setting before know a workaround? We'll be shooting again, I want to reduce that banding as much as possible. Thanks!

Aah yes, "dimmed" (PWM) LED lighting meets rolling shutter. Two inevitable evolutions of technology coming together in a spectacular disaster of banding.

Longer shutter times are one of the options - but it all depends on the lighting setup.

Kinda figured. 1/30th made it barely visable. It's not as bad as I think probably but now that I see it it's driving me nuts! Thankfully it's only apparent on certain colors

I never liked LED lights for many reasons. I don't like their color either. Theymay be white but to my eyes they seem to make subjects a little purple.
