Hello guys,

I apologize if this is a repeated questions but I've been searching around and there is a couple of post that what I was wondering was touched based on but nothing so detailed.

So I have a few questions hoping that a new user of the AG LA-7200 can find this and get started with their anamorphic films.

Question #1:

What +.05 diopter do people use? Can I use a +1.0 diopter before the actual adapter and what's the pros and cons of that?

Question #2:

When using step-up rings, what is the cons of using multiple rings to get to 77mm? My current setup for my SMC Pentax; 49mm>55mm, 55mm>62mm, 62mm>77mm .

Question #3:

Is it possible for me to operate this adapter at a f2.8 without it being so soft and how?

Question#4:

Which Lens would experience users recommend for better quality?

Question #5:

How could I achieve a CU > ECU without having having soft edges. ex: 135mm 2.8

Question #6:

Workflow in FCP - Motion -> Aspect Ratio -> -33%
Do you loss the resolution vertically and if so by how much? And how was this calculated to be set to -33%

Question not regarding the LA7200 #7:

With the ISCO or any other anamorphic adapters, is there any adapter out there that doesn't cost an arm and a leg to have the ability to shoot at least with a f2.8

Again I apologize for any repeated questions but I just didn't seem to find any of this questions answered in detail.

Thanks DVXUSER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You would need to move front glass closer to rear glass in anamorphic adapter to shoot wide open without sharpness loss.
