GH4 Kowa Prominar 8.5mm Ultra W-I-D-E lens

[lovecameras]

I love this lens! So glad I got it. Built like a tank and is very similar in feel to the Voigtlander Nokton series for M4/3.

Some decent clips here. Worth every bit of the $899 price. Seems to be new optics and design not some rehash of a Machine Vision lens as some think.

Anybody bought it? I heard it's selling well.

is this wider than the tokina 11mm with speed booster?

that lens looks awesome. hmmm

Nice - I need a brighter wide lens option than the lumix 7-14 I'm currently using,
apart from the extra field of view on this one - do you know how the SLR Magic 10mm compares?

About the same.

Not sure if it's only the lens but that's as good looking GH4 footage as I've seen. Colors really pop.

Thanks. Yes this lens seems to be the sharpest in it's field so far. I guess when the Voigtlander 10.5 and I heard that a Veydra 8mm comes along, we can really compare.
