greetings!

i went to Kenya last August with a missions group and documented everything with my dvx100b. i freaking love this camera.

anyways, i put together a 10 minute call to action piece that will be shown at various organizations to get the word out on the continuing AIDS crisis going on in Kenya and throughout Africa.

since i am always interested in seeing what other people are doing on here, i thought i would post it here to share.

you can check the youtube version or you can download a high res version from box.net. if the box.net one becomes unavailable, you should be able to see it on mvcp.org.

enjoy!

Wow, that was incredibly touching. Good job!

The upres looks great too. Did you shoot with the stock lens or use an adapter?

thanks yo.

nope... i sold my anamorphic lens because i really enjoy shooting close up and the anamorphic really put a limit on how close i could shoot... so i just used the basic squeeze mode, 24PA. Simple... but does the trick.

Wow! That is awesome. I've been wanting to go do a documentary and this makes me want to go all that much more. Props on the video!

Wow, pretty deep impact.

Aside from the technical aspect (the great job on the edit, the great camera work, the outstanding colors) this piece was very sad, and makes me want to make a difference. I just don't have the heart that some of these great people have, going to these countries and making a difference.

I wish I could help, and I guess I am with isara?

Great video!
