Just got a new camera - Sony F35

Curious, has anyone bought F35 converted from a F23? I had a lead on a really good one last year but never went through with it.

Apparently it's just a sensor block change?

Interested if anyone has a converted version or can just share any tib bits of info on it.

There will be no difference between a F35 and a F23 converted to a F35. I think it worked similarly to the way the F5 to F55 program works now.
 
I seem to recall there being a difference with the lens port below the pl mount not being there for some F35 with the conversion front. Not really sure though.

Here is one with out it, this one has other pictures with original box and user manual saying it is a F35 so maybe the ones with the lens port are conversions?
 
I think it is the other way round. That unit has a converted mount for F23. They conversion mounts are F35. Lens ports are a pain. Don't know who had the idea to stick it there, but it is a terrible position for some baseplates...
 
It's a simple computer fan - seriously $1500? i have a spare, I'll take a photo i bet we can track down equivalent for a few bucks.

Thanks man. I'll keep in touch, the camera was sent to another repair center to confirm if the fans are actually faulty and need to be replaced.
 
Hey guys, after some years of bliss I'm now selling my F35. However, ebay won't let me list it, as I haven't really sold anyhing there before... Know of a workaround?

The limit for a first time seller with a linked bank account is $500, there is no way they are going to allow you to list an item as expensive as the F35 unless you are willing to do an auction starting under $500.
 
Anyone selling Otto Nemenz top plates? I am still in search for one. I have seen a few F35's on sale with the plates, so if anyone has 2 or doesn't mind parting their kit, they would make a fellow DVXUser very happy!

Why sell? Not worth for the price. You can't buy anything better.

With you selling I think me and yachacha will be last ones from original first wave.

As long as you can produce with it for clients or personal projects I would never give it up. Like SJX says... not worth it.
