Just fitted my new LCDVF 3/2 onto my Canon 60D...

my wife has informed me she doesn't want to hear about it and has banned me from future purchases for a while....

but I'd thought I'd share with a community that understands! ;)

Absolutely love this thing....


  • LCD is far clearer (and will no doubt work in daylight)
  • Fits like a glove
  • The camera actually seems more balanced.
A very nice gadget....now just to convince the wife that a new wide angle lens would also come in handy!
 
Like mine too- only wish is for anti-fog. The need for it comes up constantly- I'm always viewing from 2-3 inches from the eyecup to clear the fog, which negates any added stabilization benefit.

The flip out screen still works fine...the magnetic mount just fits snugly on.

The only thing that has changed is the screen can no longer be stored facing into the camera...with the metal surround now on the screen it just doesn't fit .ie. you need to keep the LCD stored facing out not in...frankly I prefer this anyway as it makes it quicker just to pick up and start using the cam. The actual flip screen still works perfectly in all other positions.
