Just Bought a DVX-100B!

Hi! I just ordered the DVX-100b and a battery to go with it! I'm so excited, and I can't wait to get it! I've never owned or even touched a DVX. Not even a 24p camera! I'd like to say thanks for all the advice that the intelligent people of DVXuser has given me! THANKS! :dankk2::dankk2::dankk2::laugh:
 
I had the same feeling when I got mine. I had only handled xl1, gl1/2, and a jvc dv5000 before I got my dvx. When I pulled it out of the box I could not believe the quality of the camera.

I purchased it from Profeel, and I'm actually starting to get nervous...no one has contacted me back that it has shipped!!!! AAH!
 
Hey man, I know what it feels like now too, I purchased a DVX100A and I'm super excited to start using it.

I'm not likin' the look of that site you ordered from, it looks like so many of those gray market sites, but good luck, keep us posted..

you should be ok, i checked them out on the better business bureau and they are legit. Try calling them or emailing them and asking whats up and where your camera is at...next time just order from bh its like 100 dollars more but you get the satisfaction of knowing your buying from the most reputable company out there and they also have lightning fast shipping...

Yeah, I just looked them up on resellerratings.com and they look legit.
 
I emailed them...thrice. I paid for priority shipping (it was planned to arrive around May 28th) and they still haven't contacted me that it has shipped. I better call...

Next time I am DEFINITELY buying from B&H.

and hopefully they just shipped it out without even telling you, b/c although that would be kind of shady at least youd get it, and on time. Hope everything works out...
 
thats actually a good point, that prob would delay the shipping one if not more days....but you would still think they would have said something to you.
 
Yeah, lots of times stuff wont ship until the Tuesday after a monday weekend, and some legit places dont even contact you.
 
please tell me you ordered a UV Filter and a Lens Cleaning Kit. also, look into investing in a Capture Cam, I just got my DVX a good two weeks ago and I dont have a capture cam yet, Im nervous the head will wear out fast

as long as your not doing a butt load of capturing with it you should be all right, but it is a good practice to have a capture cam.

Any word on the cam yet emoo????
