Ambient is almost finished with a Timecode over LanC Logger device. It is able to read TC from a LanC connector.

However, Hvx200 only output " time code out via FireWire. Right now, the device works with Sony and Canon cameras only.

The guy was saying that they tried to talk to Panasonic about adapting their product to panasonic cams.

werid, coz on the video taken NAB 2007, the ambient engineer was saying that their company tried to talk to panasonic about adapting the product to be use don panasonic cams. Maybe they are considering building a firewire version !!
 
DV/HD-rack (Adobe "On-location" now.. right?) can display camera TC can't it?
Wouldn't it be cool if it could output that TC as a standard TC signal out of the computer's Sound Card?


Ok, who at Adobe do I write to to ask for that one?
