JAG35 or Express35?

Anyone have any experience with these two brands for rod support shoulder rigs? I'm looking for personal experiences on each ones build quality. And if you have a JAG35 rig, do you have it with the JAG35 or Zacuto rods? Is there a huge difference in quality? To be honest, I like the aesthetics of JAG35 more than Express35, but I'm willing to put quality over looks if there's a noticeable difference. Thanks in advance!

Yeah, I'm considering the Gini Rig too, but he doesn't always have the things I want for sale. I don't need the elaborate $1000+ "Lion" haha, just a simple shoulder rig I can build off of. The only thing that worries me is the complaints about communication.

Jag's been having some trouble with their DSLR baseplate, search the forums for that term - basically their original design left room for wobble - especially with matte boxes and FF's, and there are diagrams/etc here showing the problem and workarounds.

They said they're re-thinking the design, so check in with them. I use their DSLR plate - the basis of many of their rigs - and had to add a 2nd rod plate to it to firm it up.

I have a Express35 rig and love it...my setup right now is similar to Redrocks "Captain Stublin"...I also have a "foot" I can attach to it also...the new handles they use now are great.
