Thank you for making us all better filmmakers!!!

Well done!

Ted

WOOO-HOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So where do i pick up my camera? We each get one right?
Seriously - Mark & Jack you guys made something pretty darn stellar that I'm immensely proud to have been a part of - and having said that, I also wanna say how cool it's been to follow the thread (and a few others too) and see how helpful and genuinely supportive you all are of one anothers' work. You don't see it everyday. Way Cool.

And Mark - what awesome news about Brett! May his recovery be complete and may it be speedy as can be.

Congratulations Jack on the very recent news here! We know that you will make the best of this opportunity and you can count on the support from you friends and family here at dvxuser.com--- the greatest place on the internet!!!!!

Way to go!

So happy for and proud of you!

Ted

Jason,

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed working with you ... and watching you work. I sincerely hope I can meet you in the village some day down the road for a glass of wine and conversation. I realize now just how badly I must have smelled those days in the basement set given the filth and inability to fit a shower into the schedule. I can be much more plesant in close proximity, I promise you.

Congrats to you too for such great work.

Congratulations Jack! It was the worst hidden secret of the century this 1st place for Rekindled but that don't make it any less satisfying I am sure! I am really looking forward to your next project!

ps. congrats to Mark Johnson as well for his contribution to this and his unmatched enthusiasm! way to go guys, you rocked the house!

Thanks everyone!

And just to shout it out again ...

NO way this film would have succeeded to a fraction of a degree as much as it did or didn't without the estimable Mr. Mark Johnson ... my co-producer, co-DP, VFX whiz, certified cuckoo bird and friend.

Also I must mention and give humble thanks to Erik Paulsen who made the crytsal clear recording of Charlie Pollack singing the vocals for Rekindled here in his studio so that Herman Witkam could mix the vox and track back in the Netherlands. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. Thank you!

And of course Herman's genius continues to astound us all, and make me look like a better filmmaker than I am. I won 2nd twice without him and 1st twice with him ... easy to do the math on that one. Thank you once again sir.

Finally neighbor and 10+ year friend Mr. John Ficarra for supervising stunts and standing in as the killer for the blood spatter scene and new but dear friend Mark Harris for shooting the blood spatter scene and holding the drill for the closeup of the spinning blades. To both of these gentlemen, as with the above, I owe them for much more than that. Thank you sirs.

Once again thank you all.

And thanks to Barry Green and David Jimmerson for the feature deal.

And Barry, Jarred, and Pete at Able Cinetech for the awesome prize.

Barry, and Jarred for the awesome support, and knowledge.

And thank you John Hudson for your awesome notes on Bone Hand which I took to heart for Rekindled.

Thank you thank you thank.

All I can say is "I told you so Jack." :p

Im thrilled for you - and im not saying that as an 'Oscar' pat on the back TV interview. I mean it.

Go and take the world by storm!

You deserve not just the win but the opporunity to show people what you can really do, and I have no doubt you will!

Thanks for all your input into my film and for taking the time to make me feel at home here. Being a nice guy goes a long way - dont forget that when you're in your penthouse :)

good luck man!

Don't have time to go through all 88 pages right now, but is there a higher res version available than the one originally uploaded for submission?
