Sorry for the dumb newbie question, but, somehow the timestamp was turned on in my HPX170P and I shot over an hour of footage this weekend that now has the timestamp on it. Is the timestamp actually "burnt" into the footage or is there a way to separate? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks! :dankk2:

If you are looking at it on anything other than the camera, and you can see it. It's burned in.

Turn the time/date "off" in the display setup menu.
Turn off the "time stamp" function using the display setup.

HVX200A doesn't have that.
