Is there a cheap matte box for the gh2 that isn't super oversized?

I have an inexpensive matte box from the deep dark crevices of the internet but the hole is way oversized for my lenses.

I plan on having the wife create an elastic covering that the different lenses can peek through but I would really like a matte box just for the gh2 and its smaller lenses.

Any suggestions?

I am looking in the $30-$60 range. Any more than that, and the fabric covering will work just fine for my taste.

enjoy your fabric covering ; )

all kidding aside, unless youre using filters in the mattebox, in most cases you'll be just as well off with a snap on lens hood - IF you even need that...
 
Lol, I know right. Gotta do what you gotta do lol.

Problem is, the 20mm hood stinks in my opinion.

I know, I expected a bit more from it...But...I use it. Fact of the matter is a mattebox or bellows lens hood from what is available is way "overkill" for a camera this size. I had a Cinetactics MatteBlox DV with French Flag for my HV20.

It totally dwarfed the camera and really didn't do much more than a 52mm rubber lens hood (I used a 43-52mm stepup ring and 52mm accessories with that cam until I sold it.

What I wind up using for the Lumix 20mm is a Polaroid variable ND filter and a rubber lens hood. The wierd thing about the Polaroid variable ND is that it fits the 46mm thread but the thread on the outside is 49mm. I had a couple of 49-52mm stepup rings in a drawer so that and a 52mm rubber hood left over from a Nikkor lens I no longer have goes on and that works.

You do have to be careful you don't have a long rubber hood, that can vignette.
 
+1 to the "Flashpoint Matte Box" that Erik points out. I have one of those but don't like how the GH2 lenses are dwarfed by the hole in the thing.

<-- now looking for after market 46 mm hoods.
