Is GH1 or GH2 really the right camera for the people who own one?

Thanks a lot guys... maybe a bit off topic that I posted this here but I just wanted to make it clear that even if "EVERYONE" can get a GH1 it doesn't have to be a bad thing.

It's certainly a great camera and it's great to see young people like yourself doing exactly what I said people were doing a few years ago with the DVX - going out and shooting films fearlessly and creatively! Good on you! Merry Christmas!

I think the good and the bad of such a forum is that for the good part is you can meet and get access to a lot of knowledge from fellow members, but the bad, really ironic is that it is people from all over the world and you get isolated in this way. If someone really wants to do some creative work and has no background in the domain, he has to get out and network with creative people. Imagine if lets say half of us on this threat (not the guy from Switzerland :) ) where meeting in a bar, not behind our computer, discussing about film-making, from the technical to the creative side of it. I am sure that many great things would have come out of it, i means concrete things. Imagined if everyone could help on a project, starting from gear. No need to think ten times of the sound devices audio or the steadycam etc etc... Collaborative work is so much more interesting and helpful. But our society has made us become so much more individuals.

Collaboration is usually expensive, unless it's on a voluntary basis.
I think what modern times has done, especially post internet, has forced people to be their own scriptwriter, film cameraman, sound operative, director, editor, and producer.
I'd LOVE to do collaboration, but when you can't offer anyone any money, they often prefer to work on their own projects rather than help me for free.
