One person show (writer, producer, director) is in a pickle and needs to make a few decisions....OK, what's the best bet re ending up with HDCam? It's all fine and dandy to shoot in HD with the P2 cards but well, post is a bit of a beast for the low budgetaphile who DOESN'T HAVE A HOME EDITING SUITE. Uncompressed TIFF files and into Smoke or using firewire drive and MXF files for Avid Media Composer with Adrenaline and an additional HD board? Is one better than the other resolution and picture quality wise or no different at end of day?

You might want to do a few searches on this forum and others at dvxuser.com.

no sense retyping it.

Also, some specific succinct questions would be great.
 
Twice now, I've received notification of replies to this forum, only to find the reply the email referred to hasn't appeared!

Well Pix, I agree with you.
My attempts at searching this forum have been less than successful.
If I knew the answer, I'd help you out, but it's not a field I deal with (sorry).

nobody answered cause the question makes no sense. If you have no edit suit....most of us assume you have no HDCAM deck as well.

And searching this forum is very easy.
 
The answer is yes.

Again, I have no idea what you asking.

If you want to compare the HVX200 with HDCam, google is a great source for an internet search.
