I am wondering if anyone has used the Indiecam indieGS2K yet?
There is all this talk about the Blackmagic Cinema Camera. But I think the indieGS2K is a more important development. Sure, it only has a 2/3" sensor. But it puts out 12bit raw up to 1080p60, 10bit raw up to 1080p120 or 2kp60, it also does YUV 4:2:2 up to 1080p60 and it uses a Global Shutter. It is also extremely small and can do 3d without mirrors, you can sit 2 of the cameras side by side and have a minimum interocular distance of 40mm. It comes with a C-mount, but they have an optional PL mount, and I know of an RS232 controlled EF mount that screws onto a C-mount, which leads to my next thing, it has a lockable back-focus.
Don't know the price yet, but it should be under $5000, IMO.
