Incompatible Format DVDSP

I recently converted my footage (Canon XHa1 HD) over to M-peg2 and Dolby 2.0 files and imported them into DVDSP and it is saying the footage is incompatible. Anyone know what I am doing wrong? In compressor used 90 min. 4x3 for video footage to convert.

Compressor converts to m2v files using the presets.

I am indicating that the conversion is to a m2v video file and a ac3 audio file.

Given that HD is 16:9, which did you convert to 4:3?

Yes, to 4:3, 90 minutes best. It has a drop box to conver to m-peg2 and dolby 2.0.

Is there a chance that it converted at the HD frame size, though? You need to check on that. DVDSP deals in SD video, and is not going to like a 1080 or 720 aspect.

You need to down-convert to SD (16:9, 854x480 with square pixels) on export from FCP, then you can do the conversion in Compressor and DVDSP should have no problems.
