Haha, but really that's apples and oranges.

Freddie Mercury had a great look and act for an entertainer. Above all else he was a great musician.

Justin Beiber has a look going today. Nothing I hadn't already seen to death around 73ish.
Buy hey, use what ya got.

//Bohemian Rhapsody. It's hard for me to imagine anyone not respecting this one. The cheap shots you might read on youtube really show a level of immature ignorance imo.

And Beiber's just a kid that's goin' with the flow. Can't blame him for that. :)

Well there's a reason Rhapsody keeps getting mentions on Top Five Best Songs Ever lists (together with Imagine, usually).

I don't know who this Bieber kid is, but I'm sure he too will reach puberty one day.

Had the stamina of...well, not very much stamina, but I did have the RELAX shirt anyway. Coincidentally, this was the first DDD disc I ever owned - still a pretty fantastic audio excursion. You kids from the 90s won't know what that means, but those three Ds where a big deal back in 1984.

Andy Dick never looked so scared in his life...

Ah, the 80's, big hair, shoulder pads and shirt sleeve rolled up along with jacket sleeve. How did we ever survive?

Erik. Your post "Frankie Goes to Hollywood" reminded me of this song.
Not sure why. The V.O and the beat maybe.

//Fixed the link. The last one must have went wonky...
Look into this one a minute or so.

In the 80s I had a couple shirts that buttoned diagonally lik that, and I lt the lap hang, because that's what guys did. I'm so ashamed.

Remember the tight pants? The girls used to love it.
I shudder to think about it nowadays.

I used to like the girls wearing those see though tops though. That was so common I'd see that in the stores from the cashiers. They always had a bra underneath though.
Nowadays that'd almost be illegal.

//Edit: Oh. I can't say that stuff now. It's 2010. My bad.

What was it about her? I had a thing for her that was borderline ridiculous. And I read your list....Annie Lennox. Really. Really. Love her. Had an odd dream about her once...it was weird because it was about a year ago and came from out of nowhere. I think maybe she was on an award show or something and I glimsped it, but I remember I was so shocked she would pop up in my head without any real provocation. Nice seeing her again even if it was just in a dream. LOL.

Susanna Hoffs was definitely, not ugly. At 51, she still looks incredible. For me, she was up there with Belinda Carlisle.
