Imported P2 clips are not in a chronological order in Premiere CS4

Hi!

When I import a bunch of P2 clips in to Adobe premiere, the clips are not organized in the project window the way I would expect. Some clips that was shot towards the end of the shooting session appear in the middle of earlier clips. This can get a little bit confusing since I have a lot of material and it would be important to be able to view that material in a chronological order. Is there a remedy for this behaviour?

Any help/tips will be appreciated!

try clicking the mediastart tab in the bin .....

Where these clips converted to dvcprohd or are they originally from a p2 chip ?

Thanks for the tip, that will do the job.

I guess what I'm really asking about is that why are the clips not automatically named in a chronological way? Why are there inconsistencies in the naming of the clips in the camera in the first place? And is there a way to change that in order to achieve chronologically named clips straight out from the camera (HPX-171)?

Thanks!
