Finally got around to seeing Rescue Dawn - absolutely riveting.

Can't say the same for The Island that I'm watching right now. Well-produced, and decent ideas...but loads of storyline inconsistencies.

Where Eagles Dare

This movie sent me and my friend into fits of laughter. It's one of those films that's almost really good, but every now and then there will be a really cheesy music cue or ineptly staged piece of violence that's just hysterically awkward. The fact that the whole thing is played dead serious just makes it funnier. And I think Clint Eastwood single handedly kills about 200 people in this film.
