I'm excited

Just got a call from the wife...my camera has arrived...

How long does it take to charge the battery??

Plus...I sold my GL2 and it will be heading off to its new home tomorrow...

I am right behind you. My camera arrived around 1 pm CST. I can't wait to park my XDcam in my photog locker and go home to mess with the new HMC150.

On another note, I went back online to look at the deals and found B&H, Dell, and others are now out of stock.

Must have been a mad rush caused by postings in this forum :)

Now i just have to sell my DVX100 and my GS70 to make up some of the cost.

Let me just say, opening the box, gently unwrapping and removing the camera for that first touch was....dare i say...practically orgasmic....

I will now sit and wait, read the manual (which I already downloaded and read twice), fondle the camera and wait some more for the battery to charge....

And maybe have a beer :beer:

BTW...I took a vaction day tomorrow...play day! :thumbup:

I got mine about a month ago, but with you guys getting your 150's, I'm feeling excited all over again!!

And, YES! I'm wanting to up my PC H.P. at this point too! I don't think I can stand the dreaded transcoding process for every clip I shoot.

I'm building a Super PC as we speak, to be able to edit in AVCHD!

Geez the "Hook" has definitely got me by the gills! LOL

You should have filmed your box opening. I did, just for the memories.
 
Check out videodirect.com, I got the big boy battery VW-VBG6 for 129.95 and 9.84 for shipping. You have to pay tax in Florida.
