T2i I made a tutorial for installing Magic Lantern firmware.

I can't do anything with the config file, but the audio sounds great to me, I've shot 2 films and a paying gig with the firmware with no issues.

Here's a quick demo i did to give an idea of the difference it makes:

the first version that doesn't disable the onboard mic only shows audio levels correct? It doesn't do anything to the agc

im having troubles with the autobooting on the mac, i dont think its an issue with making the card bootable as magic lantern successfully works every time i use the firmware update and makes a log of this on the SD card as it mentions on the website, i believe i need the correct DISKBOOT.BIN file but i have no idea where to find that

You don't need a bootable SD card to run Magic Lantern when you run the firmware after switching the camera on. Making the SD card bootable means you don't need to run the firmware each time you turn the camera on.

Thank you very much for the tutorial. It works very well. But I still have a problem though. When I want to plug in my Lilliput HDMI monitor the camera won't output a signal with the AGC disabled version. If I run the Magic Lantern version without the AGC fix however the HDMI output works. Very stange... Does anyone else has this problem as well?

No probs, I'm glad you followed it ok.

As for your problem, you should report it here, this will help the people who are working on it. :)

I know it's frustrating to have these problems but that's the way these are when in early stages.
