Heh, and here I am really wanting a shirt like that. 
HVX200 was probably used as a director's viewfinder type unit. All the reference cameras actually used for shooting where all genlocked & TC slaved to the system.
Looks like the set for holographic display table in then Hells Gate control tower in the image.
Also, looks to be the Cameron/Pace Fusion 3D camera they used for the live-action shooting in the background behind James.
EDIT: Yup:
He is definitely reviewing footage in that shot though.
But it's a strange photo ... as it's my understanding that the computer screens in the background & Pandora outside the windows was added in post. This photo looks to have had partial effects applied to it.
