HVX to HDD through the firewire

I tried a western digital and got the exact same error, "too many targets". It drove me crazy and no one had any answers. So i went back to Best Buy, returned it, and bought a Maxtor HDD. It works just fine

Does the NEXTO 2525 accept the P2 card directly or do you use a USB cable to download the card? Question 2: where can one purchase a NEXTO in the U.S.? I see that they are available in Malaysia and UK, but would prefer to buy locally or at least in U.S.

Doesn't accept the P2 card directly (although it can take CompactFlash cards directly, handy for Red users).

You can connect the HVX directly to it through firewire and use the HVX's 1394 Host Mode to control it.

I bought it from some website in the US but I don't remember which.

Many of these WD MyBooks have a hardwired RAID and two drives.

If that is the case, then it is likely causing the issues people have reported.

so how long does it take to offload a full 8gb or 16gb to one of those NEXTO 2525 drives?
