HVX Slide?

I received my Panasonic HVX200 today and I have a question about it for anybody who owns the camera.

I noticed that when the camera is off, and I tilt the camera up and down (high angle/low angle) there's a sliding sound inside the camera, like something is moving back and forth. It doesn't sound at all like it's a freefalling object or something that came loose, it's just a very specific sliding noise.

When I turn the camera on, however, the sliding sound is no longer.

I am told this is normal, but do your HVX200's do the same?

Thank you.

It's probably the lens stabilizer. The DVX has the same thing. When you turn on the camera it engages and you don't hear it anymore.

Slide won't get you anything, but clunk will net you the world. There is also an interesting article on this in the FAQs and in Barry's book. Doesn't the owner's manual now feature a bit on this as well?
