Spoke with the ET folks at NAB and they said to contact them directly. They were really really low on inventory even during NAB. As good a deal as it is, I decided to pass on the body armor.

Just "snatched" one of the last pieces of F3 raiser and shoulder pad kit, for dirt cheap... Paying (regular) $1050 for it sounded crazy, last year... Waiting sometimes pays off.

I am guessing they will sell off all F3 related stuff in next few weeks. After that, they will continue selling to f5/f55 and red crowd for "professional" price...
 
If anyone is interested, I found out directly from 3ality, the weight is 2.14 pounds. That is pretty good for how much of the camera it covers and the handle. The Berkey Plate which most people would be removing is about 1 pound, if memory serves me correctly.

That jives with what I heard from 3ality maybe not even that long.

Does anyone have a source for Sony parts for their ENG cameras. I am looking for the locking nut and the small EVF dovetail plate for their ENG EVFs.

Has anyone attached an ATOMOS Samurai to the Armor using the Samurai's D-Tap lead - it's a real pain getting it to sit tight to the camera! My armor kit arrives tomorrow! Sparky
